Artist's Comments
I really hate doing really typical fanart. I do it from time to time, but I'm usually far more satisfied when I can produce something that keeps the viewer intrigued either by story or dramatic imagery, and I saw the real potential to do so with this. ~crykat and *puppetcore indirectly gave me the idea (through the OMG_AdultSwim RP that we're in) to do a B-Movie rendition of the members of Dethklok. I did this one in the hopes one day I'll find some way to send it to Tommy Blacha (the other creator of the series Metalocalypse). In the show they usually don't make Pickles this hairy, but ~KellyDawn made the very good point with her work that she hasn't seen a red-head that doesn't have a lot of hair and well, neither have I. For that matter they leave out a lot of scars and stuff that should be there, so I assume it's a detail they're to lazy to animate in Flash or Moho.
Anyway, I decided that instead of just put them hanging out in the movie monster outfits, I would do a mock up promotional poster. I'm really happy with the way that this turned out, especially with my arm killing me during coloring. Now I just have to go get my hard hat and my scythe and get ready for the fantards. |

This is just incredible. The funny thing is that there is a music and horror con on the east coast, Boston area, called Rock n' Shock. One of my favorite actors, Jeffrey Combs, has been to one or two of them.
I would love it if you decided to do the individual members of Dethklok, either playing their instrutments (Nathan's case, singing) or something like this, doing something they might in their off times.
Oh, maybe having something to do with that Summerian prophecy that council mentioned in the first episode. We only got a quick look at that craving that is suppose to be the band. That might be interesting!!
But please please do more Dethklok! I should also say I looked at your gallery. I don't know most of the characters you drew, but you make me want to know more.
You did a very good job with the details.

Thundercrap, is it possible you did Toki as the Creature from the Black Lagoon? It's hard to tell because we can't see Toki's hands or feet. That would be a big clue. But it could be either or.
Either way, it's way cool!
